If you are looking for help or wanting to help out this holiday season, Kalispell's United Way wrote the book, literally.
"Hope for the Holidays" lists ways for volunteers to lend a hand in the Valley during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
It also includes lists of free services throughout Flathead county, such as who offers free Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners.
This is the fifteenth year the United Way of Northwest Montana has compiled the publication.
"I think people want to give, but they don't often know how to connect or what is needed in the community," said Sherry Stevens, the executive director of Kalispell's United Way.
Copies have already been mailed out across the Flathead. To get one mailed to you, call the United Way at 406.752.7266.
