Republican Steve Daines Enters 2014 Senate Race

Posted: Updated:

U.S. Rep. Steve Daines confirmed what many had long-speculated in Bozeman Wednesday, when he announced he will run for the U.S. Senate in 2014.

Daines was one of the first names to pop up amongst Republicans when Democratic Sen. Max Baucus announced his retirement last spring.

Daines' announcement, comes the day after long-time Republican and former Lt. Gov. John Bohlinger declared his run for the same seat, but on the opposite side of the ticket as a Democrat.
