F.S.A. Looking For Loss Adjusters

Posted: Updated:
BOZEMAN -

The U.S.D.A. Farm Service Agency wants to hire additional contracted loss adjusters.

The F.S.A. is looking for eight adjusters to inspect damaged or destroyed crops for the noninsured crop disaster assistance program.

Right now, the agency only has 22 adjusters and they are looking to have 30.

And with the hail storm that hit this past summer and took out entire fields, the F.S.A. said these are important jobs to Montana's farmers.

"This crop disaster program that we administer is an important one for producers in this state, and again we need all the help we can get," said Bruce Nelson, State F.S.A. Executive Director.

Applications are due December 2 and are found at any Montana F.S.A. office or here.

You can mail you application to Montana State Farm Service Agency, Attention Amanda Lucas, P.O. Box 670, Bozeman, MT  59771.

If you have any questions, you are asked to contact Amanda Lucas at 406-587-5870 or Shelly Rolando at 406-587-6877.
