MISSOULA -

Counties across the state will be holding municipal elections Tuesday. ABC FOX MONTANA will be the first on the air with the results.

From Rexford to Dillon, voters will be weighing in on mayoral and city council positions. Since we cover all of western and south central Montana we will be following all the contested races for mayor. That includes: Alberton, Boulder, Bozeman, Dillon, Ennis, Hamilton, Hot Springs, Libby, Missoula, Philipsburg, Plains, Polson, Rexford, Ronan, Sheridan, St. Ignatius, Stevensville, Three Forks, Troy, and Whitehall. That's 20 total races.

In addition, in Gallatin County voters will decide on a mill levy to fund operations for the Gallatin College Montana State University.

In Basin, the ballot has a mill levy for maintenance and capital improvements to the water and sewer district.

Florence voters will decide if they want to dissolve their water and sewer district.

Kalispell voters will decide if they want to repeal a city council decision to expand the airport.

One-point-seven million dollars annually is on the ballot to maintain and improve mountain line bus service in Missoula.

And, the Beaverhead Fire District is asking for 10 mills for the operation and maintenance of fire district #3.

We are expecting results around 8:30 p.m. in most counties and will bring them to you on air and online Tuesday night.
