County Calls Off Dogs

BIGFORK -

Flathead County Sheriff, Chuck Curry, says the search for the missing duck hunter on Flathead River is scaling back.

Curry says the search for the missing 65-year-old Kalispell man, who has not been identified at this time, will continue on and off as resources are available until he is found.

A dive team is planning to look Saturday, November 2, but canines are no longer searching.

The man's vehicle, parked at the Sportsman fishing access, and an overturned bright green kayak found just south of the Sportman's bridge on Highway 82 are the only traces officials have found so far.

The search began last Monday, October 21.
