Orthodontist Collecting Extra Halloween Candy

Posted: Updated:
BOZEMAN -

Are you wondering what you're going to do with all the extra candy your kids get this Halloween?

Sayre Orthodontics in Bozeman is collecting left over Halloween candy. For every pound donated, they will pay $2 to you and donate an equal amount to your school.

All the candy will be given to Adopt-A-Sox and will be included in care packages sent to service men and women during the holidays.

"I look forward to it so much. Every year Adopt-A-Sox shares the letters that the troops send saying thank you for the care package," said Sarah Pisk, Sayre Orthodontics Patient Care Coordinator. "It makes me feel good to be a part of something that's positive."

Last year, Sayre collected 179 pounds of candy. You can bring your candy in starting Monday through November 14.
