Missoula Police Search For 19-Year-Old Kentucky Man

MISSOULA -

Missoula Police are on the look-out for a man reported missing from the State of Kentucky. A police report shows 19-year-old Damien Tucker arrived in Missoula by Greyhound Bus, and is currently believed to be in the Missoula area.

Sgt. Travis Welsh with the Missoula police department said Tucker has made comments about going to the "Yukon Territory", but does not have access to private transportation. He may also be in route to the Rattlesnake Wilderness area. Police say he may be in possession of several knives, and a handgun, but is not considered "violent". According to the Missoula Police Department, there is no indication Tucker represents a public threat.

Tucker is approximately 5'9" tall and weighs about 170 lbs. He has short, reddish brown hair and hazel eyes. He currently has braces on his teeth and was last seen wearing a dark green or brown jacket and baggy pants. He may also be wearing a gray or beige jacket with blue and orange stripes near the shoulders. Tucker is believed to be carrying a small backpack and a bedroll. Police said Tucker is under the care of a doctor, and is currently off his meds.

If anyone has seen Tucker, or knows his whereabouts they are asked to contact Det. Jamie Merifield at (406) 552-6291, or Missoula Crime-Stoppers.
