While Butte is preparing for Halloween, one haunted house is preparing to help out local non-profit organizations.
The second annual Haunted House at the Original Mineyard is set to donate its proceeds to six Butte organizations.
The money generated from the haunted house will go towards the Butte High and Butte Central drama clubs, the Butte Food Bank, the Kiwanis Club, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butte.
"It's super important. It does a lot for us," said Miranda Bishop. "I know for art club it helps us with a lot of things. Some kids may have a harder time raising money for "Art Trek", so they will get money from this for working. It's really important to Butte. It does a lot of good."
There are more than 100 volunteers working at the haunted house.
Organizers have been working on it since last year.
The haunted house will start Friday and go through Saturday.
It will open again for Halloween.
