The Cats started to put things together in the 2nd quarter and with two touchdowns the Bobcats led Weber State 19-10 to end the half.

As the third quarter began Weber State scored but the Bobcats picked up the ball on the PAT attempt and returned it for a two point conversion giving MSU a 21 – 16 lead to end the third. The fourth quarter was all Bobcats. Two more touchdowns and the game ended with the MSU winning 34–16.
