New Skateboard Areas In Bozeman

BOZEMAN -

Bozeman will soon have two new areas for skateboarders.

Last week, anew 37,000 square foot bowl was added to the Kirk Park in Bozeman. Construction is underway on a 32-foot new ramp at the Gallatin County Regional Park.

Skateboarder, Dave Guff said he's excited about the new skating opportunities in Bozeman.

"I think it's great," said Guff. "I think the community are really going to enjoy this."

The bowl cost just under $40,000. The ramp cost about $20,000. Some funding came from the Gallatin Valley Skatepark Association. The rest came from donations.
