Bozeman Soccer Dominating

Posted: Updated:
Bozeman soccer has not lost a game all season. The defending state champs have had great success because everyone buys into the team concept.

"I think we're playing good soccer mainly because of everyone's commitment to the program. Everyone here is committed to our mission," said head coach Hunter Terry.

"We had a talk with Hunter and he said release your ego to the program and I find that very valuable. We've been playing good possession style buying into the system," said senior midfielder Sam Phillips.

And this team unity allows the hawks to dominate time of possession.

"It's important because the style of play that we like to adhere to of possession everyone has to be in it together everyone has to be in the same system. If we're not all on the same page then that doesn't work," said senior midfielder Alec Marshall.

"We have another phrase give them no room to breathe moving forward we want to go forward fast and be very dynamic," said Terry.

So is there any concern for Coach Terry and his team?

"Weather. We want good weather. Weather in all seriousness weather is always a legitimate concern," said Terry.

"When the field is not in the perfect condition or it's wet it can kind of mess up those passes so that could be one factor that could influence our game," said Marshall.
