City Life Center Secures Funding

MISSOULA -

A Missoula organization has secured financing for its building that houses 13 nonprofits, including the Boys and Girls Club and Habitat for Humanity.

The City Life Center, originally built in 2008, lost $600,000 in financing during the recession.

City Life organizers have been working to pay off the building debt ever since.

Now, they said they've reached their goal of $750,000 in pledges -- part of a deal with a private individual who restructured City Life's debt.

"A big thank you to everyone who helped us get the word out, and for those who helped us make the goal, and to those who are striving hard with us to make Missoula a great place," said Brent Gyuricza, City Life's Executive Director.

City Life organizers said they're hoping to partner with Missoula Youth Court and Juvenile Detention Center on new programs at the center.
