Ennis is five and O this season, and the number one ranked team in Class C. A big part of that is senior wide receiver Connor Sullivan, who dominates defenses with his height and weight.
"I think my size helps with that being six foot four 220 plus and I have pretty decent speed for my size too," said Sullivan.
"As a defensive coordinator, I would have a difficult time figuring out a defense that contains him. I mean are you going to double team him, going to contain him? He's very difficult to cover one on one. And that has presented problems for the teams we've faced," said Ennis defensive coordinator Kurtis Koenig.
Sullivan has the physical attributes, but the Montana State commit plays with mental toughness.
"I think it starts how he thinks. He thinks very technically and he knows how to get to open spots," said teammate Chad Johnerson.
"We've got a kid here who not only can catch the ball and once he does he can outrun a lot of people but we can also throw to him across the middle. Because he's a difficult guy to tackle. it's more than just his speed. It's his sure determination to not go down," said Koenig.
His leadership is another reason why Ennis is undefeated.
"He and a couple of other guys led our off season weight program and so it's not just size and speed it's fortified with iron and the rest of the team has bought into it," said Koenig.
"My number one goal is to win a state championship it's been there since junior high that's just what we all want to do is to win a state championship," said Sullivan.
