Man in Fair Condition after Falling Through Skylight

MISSOULA -

A University of Montana employee who fell through a skylight yesterday morning is in fair condition.

UM officials say 61-year-old Mike Burke fell about 20 feet through the glass skylight and landed on a boiler inside the heating plant on campus.

Officials said Burke was checking equipment on the roof -- a routine part of his job.

UM officials are investigating the incident, and have determined Burke did not violate any health or safety regulations.
