The merger between Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin Resort was finalized last week.

In August, Big Sky Resort parent company Boyne Resorts partnered with CrossHarbor Capital to buy Moonlight Basin.

Now the two resorts are operating as one.

Big Sky Resort spokeswoman Sheila Chapman said because of the recent acquisition, there is still time get discounted prices on season passes.

"Now that the merger was complete between Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin, we decided to open up our early season passes sale to the prices we had before September 30," said Chapman.

Prices are available for the Big Sky area only, Moonlight Basin only and well as another new option, if you already bought your season passes.

"The biggest skiing in America upgrade for people who have bought passes are also available online."

"I think the excitement and the vibe everybody has for having both of these resorts together," said Chapman. "It's just going to bring us to a whole new level."
