The Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service offices in Butte are currently closed, during the partial government shutdown.
35 employees of the Butte B.L.M. office will not be working during the government shut down.
An estimated 40 to 50 employees of the Butte and Jefferson Ranger Districts will also not receive a pay check.
Each office has signs at the entrance, saying they will not be working until the federal government is back up and running.
The Bureau of Land Management in Butte will suspend all services except law enforcement and emergency response functions.
