Missoula Co. Urges Voters to Register

Posted: Updated:
MISSOULA -

Missoula County elections officials are urging voters to register before November 5, as part of National Voter Registration Day.

County officials staffed a customer service table at the Missoula courthouse on Tuesday, as part of a massive 50-state effort to register thousands of voters before Election Day.

Missoula County officials said they want to highlight the importance of off year elections, like Missoula's municipal election this fall.

Rebecca Connors, of the Missoula Co. Elections Office, said, "So, we're trying to be able to bring awareness to individuals' mailing address and voter information and making sure that's current for the upcoming election."

Missoula's city election takes place November 5, and ballots are automatically mailed out to registered voters on October 21.
