The Griz volleyball team hopes to take a little momentum into their game Friday against Northern Colorado. At 3-6 their record isn't eye-popping, but as the team comes off their best weekend yet, winning the lone-star showdown and knocking off teams like Texas Tech and Cal State Fullerton
"I think it was huge, it gave us a lot of momentum, especially because I feel it was the first weekend we started strong, and we finished strong. We beat two teams in three, and it was huge. It gave us momentum and confidence, and I think to play like that, and to win those tough matches. We were playing great teams, and I think it's the first time we were the first to five, the first to ten, and we finished, we finished strong, and it meant a lot for us to play together, and the wins were important, because it got us ready for conference this weekend," says Griz senior outside hitter Kayla Reno.
