Most young athletes play sports because they're exciting, and that's exactly why Belgrade middle hitter Taylor Woolman plays volleyball.
"I like the thrill I like being able to kill and the excitement of my team that's a lot of it it's a lot of excitement," said Woolman.
The senior's mindset and versatility has allowed the panthers to put up a 3-0 conference record.
"I do think that her individual play translates to our team's success because she brings such a competitive attitude to the game so she has that no lose mentality and that carries to the team when we see that on her face than it translates to us then we have that competitive attitude so I don't know if our team would be as aggressive without her," said senior teammate Tanna Holliday.
"She easily could be a six rotation middle hitter which is really unique at a high school to have someone to have someone whose six foot one and can block as well as she can and she can still dig the ball back row and receive," said head coach Jade Schmidt.
Woolman has the ability and the passion to play in college.
"She as the ability to play six rotations so she can go to the outside position at the next level. I know she's getting some looks from some NAIA schools we had a camp here this summer where the griz came in," said Schmidt.
"I'm hoping to continue on and play at the next level see where it goes some possibilities I'm hoping so for sure," said Woolman.
