School officials say most students are in attendance at Hellgate Elementary Wednesday, after graffiti making bomb and shooting threats was found Tuesday afternoon.
Hellgate Schools Superintendent Doug Reisig says, like the threats made last week at Big Sky High School, the graffiti threats were found inside a boy bathroom stall, targeting specific students to be shot and a vague bomb threat against the entire school.
Reisig says parents were notified Tuesday night and police patrols are increased.
He says the school and police department are working closely on an investigation to determine if this is a copy-cat of the Big Sky threat or the same person or group of people made these threats.
Reisig wants to assure parents and the community that the threats are taken with the utmost seriousness and their children are safe.
