A 44-year-old man accused of promoting the prostitution of underage girls in Missoula made an initial appearance in Justice Court on Wednesday. Walter Hill from New York faces felony charges of aggravated promotion of prostitution and sexual abuse of children.

Court documents say in March, Missoula police got a tip of what appeared to be a prostitution ad online showing an underage girl. Missoula police responded to the ad and met up with the girl at a motel. She admitted to be seventeen and working for a pimp named "Knowledge."

Hill was arrested when a laptop and a backpack full of lingerie, which appeared to be in the posting, was found in his apartment. He will appear in court next on September 25.
