Although the height of the summer tourist season is behind us, Glacier National Park is no where near easing up.
Right now is a time of change for the Park. They just introduced a new concessionaire to begin January 1, 2014 as well as a new CEO of the Glacier National Park Conservancy.
Today, the park inaugurated their newest Superintendent, Jeff Mow, who comes all the way from Alaska.
All of this comes after July saw a record number of deaths in the Park. Both the new superintendent and CEO weigh in on public safety in Glacier while also mentioning their excitement about 2016, the centennial for the National Park Service.
Superintendent Mow has worked in several national parks over the past two decades, including Denali National Park in Alaska.
Hear what they have planned, coming up on Fox News at Nine.
