March Of Dimes Takes It To The Kitchen To Raise Money

Posted: Updated:
MISSOULA -

The March of Dimes is taking to the kitchen to raise money for its fight for stronger and healthier babies. The First Annual March of Dimes Signature Chef's Auction was held Monday night.

Event goers had the opportunity to visit chef stations and try signature dishes from local chefs. Each station created culinary packages to auction off. ABC FOX Montana's Chef Jim and company president Linda Gray emceed the event. All of the funds go to the March of Dimes' efforts.

"We're really trying to make sure all babies have a fighting chance to be born healthy and strong, and that's not happening, so at March of Dimes that's a our mission with research, advocacy and community service," said Debra Donovan, State Director of the Montana March of Dimes.

Sponsors of the event include Community Medical Center, Summit Beverage, Northwestern Energy and Max Media.
