Caregiver Charged For Trying To Kill Man

BOZEMAN -

A caregiver of a partially-paralyzed man in Bozeman is arrested after allegedly threatening the man's life with a knife.

53-year-old, Elsia Evans McEntire is being charged with felony assault with a weapon. According to court documents, the victim is paralyzed on the left side of his body and is in a wheelchair.

Documents state the two got into a fight on Tuesday morning, the police were called and the defendant was asked to leave the home.

But later, documents say McEntire came back to the home, held a knife in front of the victim and threatened to kill him.

Her bail was set at $30,000 in Gallatin County Justice court.
