MISSOULA -

Evening storms dropped about a tenth of an inch of rain on the Lolo Creek Complex Thursday and crews said the fire lines held even with winds. They now have a fire line around the whole fire. They are waiting to see if the lines hold before calling the fire fully contained.

As of Thursday night the fire was 10,900 acres and was 70 percent contained. Crews said strong winds will bring a red flag warning to the fire area Friday, but they are confident the lines will hold.
