There is now a new prescription drug drop off in Bozeman.
The Bozeman Elk's Lodge 463 donated the drug take back dispenser to the Bozeman Police Department.
This one is in the downtown police station on North Rouse.
There are already drug take back dispensers at the Law And Justice Center and Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.
Officials say it is important to get unused prescription drugs in the right place.
"Educating the community about prescription drug misuse and how important it is to clean out your medicine cabinet and get the medicines turned in," said Susie Larson, Bozeman Elk Lodge 463.
You can drop off prescription and over-the-counter pills, liquids, and even pet medication.
Injectable drugs and aerosols will not be accepted.
