RICHLAND, Wash. -- Last year's three-way bottle-neck at the top of the Mid-Columbia Conference could have just one winner. That was the Kennewick Lions. The Hanford Falcons missed out on the post-season as a result of a week seven defeat at the hands of the Lions. But Hanford's record has improved every season since 2010. This year the Falcons say execution is key, and leadership from the seniors will help.

"We always talk out here about integrity, and the small things matter. So when I do things right, I can show them what they need to do and then also me going hard is going to show them the level they need to beat," Hanford senior lineman Jeff Weyand said.

"We want to be a physical team. We want to play fast. We want to execute and compete. There's no excuses for not doing those things. That's our mantra for our football squad, and we've been pretty successful doing that the last couple of years," Hanford head coach Rob Oram added.
