Crews Make Progress On Miner Paradise Complex

Posted: Updated:
PARADISE VALLEY -

While crews continue to make progress on the Miner Paradise Complex fire, some are still worried about thunderstorms moving into area.

Thunderstorms and gusty winds continue to develop in the areas of the four fires burning in the complex, which could create high winds and spread the fires even more.

Overnight, the fires only grew a few acres. The East Fork Hyalite area still remains closed. National Forest System lands around the south area of the Chico vicinity are also closed.

A meeting will be held on Saturday at the Paradise Valley Fire Hall at 7 p.m. to update the public on the fires.
