Montana's First Spartan Race Packs A Punch

Posted: Updated:
BIGFORK -

Bigfork's Spartan Race strengthens the Flathead's local economy with international dollars.

Last year's race contributed more than a million dollars to the local economy thanks to the near sixty-six hundred spectators and participants from around the globe.

Over half the racers came from at least one hundred miles outside of Kalispell to hurdle over flames, scale walls, and schlep through mud.

After hitting such a home run, the Kalispell Convention and Visitor Bureau is already organizing next year's race for May 10, 2014.

To sign yourself up for next year's race, click here. Use the discount code Kalispell20 to receive a discounted fee up until September 30. You can also check out the Spartan Race's Facebook page.
