On Monday, one of three women involved in a bust of an alleged prostitution ring in Belgrade last month entered her plea.
A translator stood by the side of 70-year-old Ok Nan Tenette as she pleaded not guilty to promoting prostitution, a felony.
According to court documents, Tenette was one of three women arrested after an undercover investigation revealed they were allegedly offering massage clients sexual acts in exchange for money at the Beijing spa and VIP spa in Belgrade.
During the investigation, conversations between the undercover officer and the women were recorded, leading to the women's arrest.
If charged, Tenette could face up to ten years in jail and a fine of up to $50,000.
