Today, Court Appointed Special Advocates of Missoula, also known as CASA, announced they received a 10,000 dollar grant from The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation.
CASA is a non-profit organization that provides training and recruitment for volunteers and advocates who help abused and neglected children in court.
Executive Director of CASA in Missoula said they are very behind helping the children and the money will benefit the organizations greatly.
" We are really excited about this opportunity to expand our services, the need for CASA has doubled in the past two years and we are doing our best to help. This grant will go a long way towards helping us ensure that every child that needs CASA has CASA," she said.
The Washington Foundation grant will match all donations given to the CASA organization until the end of the year that totals up to 10,000 dollars.
