The latest death in Glacier National Park brings the total up to four for the month of July.
Park rangers recovered the body of 21-year-old Matthew Needham near Grinnell point yesterday afternoon. His fatal fall also marks the second park concessionaire to die this month--both employees of the Many Glacier Hotel.
Needham fell nearly sixty feet while hiking with two other park employees in a rocky and steep area.
"You know it's not uncommon for search and rescue operations to occur in the park, however this many deaths is tragic and unfortunate especially with two GPI employees who worked in the same area, the Many Glacier Hotel."
Originally from California, Needham was working in the park as a cook.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
