Event Brings Dogs In The Community Together

Posted: Updated:

BOZEMAN - On Saturday, the first annual Tails on Trails in Bozeman hosted by the Heart of the Valley and the Gallatin Valley Land Trust event will take place.

The purpose of the event is to celebrate Bozeman's dog-friendly hiking trails. The 1.3 mile hike down Sourdough Canyon Trailhead will be filled with different pet activities including trail etiquette tips, dog trick demo, dog nutrition advice and educational handouts.

"I just love the opportunity to gather with people and their dogs and learn about what this community has to offer in terms of trails," said Kathryn Hohmann, Heart of the Valley Development Director. "There's so many opportunities to get outside and we hope people will learn a lot as well."

The hike begins at 9 a.m.
