Western Montana 1st Annual Bikers for Babies Ride

Posted: Updated:

This Saturday Grizzly Harley-Davidson teams up with the non-profit organization March of Dimes for The First Annual Western Montana Bikers for Babies Ride.

The Grizzly Harley-Davidson Store in Missoula is gearing up for their first Bikers for Babies Ride, raising money for the March of Dimes Organization.

"We thought since there already doing one in Billings, it would be a great idea to do one in western Montana so this will be the first annual biker ride," Co -Revenue Chair March of Dimes, Laraine Porrazzo said.

The organization encourages mothers to have full term pregnancies and supports infant health research. Expanding this event to western Montana is exciting to March of Dimes Organization.

"With this event we're having in Missoula, it's just one step helping us get closer to our ultimate goal, which is to raise money for healthier mothers, healthier families and healthier babies," Co-Revenue Chair March of Dimes, Michael Morgan said.

It's here at the Grizzly Harley-Davidson store in Missoula where bikers will take off for their three and a half hour long ride. They'll come back here where the party will start with biker games, food from Hooters and raffles all benefiting March of Dimes.

Bikers in Kalispell will also be apart of this Bikers for Babies event, making the ride from the Flathead to Missoula where they will join the party and fundraising.

"We really like to be involved with the community and community events so anything that benefits any local health issue is very important to us," Grizzly Harley-Davidson Marketing Manager, Denise Mitchell said.

Both March of Dimes and Harley-Davidson encourage people to come out on Saturday to the event even if you do not have a motorcycle.

People can still register on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 with the ride starting at 11.
