Posted: Updated:

BOZEMAN - The Community Food Truck used to be an old Galavan bus and this year, the Galavan company is celebrating 40 years serving the Gallatin Valley.

The Galavan provides rides for citizens 60 years and older or anyone with a disability. The company has four full-time drivers, who take customers to places like shopping and doctors appointments

In the last year, the service has provided over 24,000 rides.

"All of our riders are very appreciative of the opportunities that we have to serve them," said Lee Hazelbaker, Galavan Director.

To celebrate it's 40th anniversary, Galavan will have an ice cream social on July 25th from four to six p.m. at the Human Resource Development Council on 32 South Tracy in Bozeman.
