Drunk Driver Accused of Homicide Pleads Not Guilty

MISSOULA -

A Missoula man who struck and killed a pedestrian while driving drunk back in May pleads not guilty today in Missoula District Court.

Tom Vineyard, 38, pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide while under the influence and negligent vehicular assault.  

Vineyard was driving around a curve on N. 5th St. when he hit and killed Roberta Demmert with his truck.

He also severely injured Demmert's sister -- Pamela -- who was walking with her sister.
 
Vineyard's next court appearance is set for August.
