Head-On Crash In Northeast Spokane

KHQ.COM - On Friday emergency crews responded to a head-on crash at Jackson & Greene. Authorities tell us a vehicle driving northbound on Greene went over the median and slammed into a vehicle going southbound on Greene. At least one person had to be extricated. Both drivers have minor injuries.

    Two people were seriously injured when a house exploded and shattered into pieces Friday in Columbus, Ohio.  The blast rocked the neighborhood shortly after 8AM Friday morning.  When firefighters arrived, they pulled a man and woman from the rubble.  Authorities say both are in critical condition.  The city housing authority owns the home and says it was supposed to be vacant. Investigators have not determined a cause of the blast.

    WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court says police generally need a search warrant if they want to track criminal suspects' movements by collecting information about where they've used their cellphones. The justices' 5-4 decision Friday is a victory for privacy in the digital age. That's a big change from the old days when authorities could go to the phone company and obtain information about the numbers dialed from a home telephone without presenting a warrant.
