Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Young Girls Sentenced

A Butte man, accused of sexually assaulting two young girls, is sentenced to 20 years in the Montana State Prison.

Edward Perry is accused of sexually assaulting two minor females back in November of 2011.

Judge Kurt Krueger sentenced Perry to a 40 year prison sentence with 20 of those years suspended, and also gave Perry credit for serving nearly 600 days in jail.

Along with completing his prison sentence, the judge ordered Perry complete sex offender classes.

Prior to his sentencing, Perry pleaded guilty to the charges.
