Albertsons Robbed On N. Nevada; Look At Surveillance Photos

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE POLICE DEPT: On Wednesday at about 9:30 am Spokane Police officers responded to a robbery at the 6520 N Nevada, Albertsons. The suspect walked into the business and confronted an employee at the Customer Service counter.

The suspect had his hand in a black, leather satchel-type bag and stated he had a gun. The suspect ran from the business with an undisclosed amount of cash. A K9 track for the suspect was attempted but he was not located. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:

  • White male
  • thin build
  • approximately 40 years of age
  • approximately 6' tall
  • wearing blue jeans, a light grey hooded sweatshirt, blue/navy baseball hat with shoulder length light colored hair
  • This man is believed to be the same suspect who robbed the Java Hut Espresso Stand earlier this week

      GRANGER, Wash. - Authorities say a man killed himself during a traffic stop in eastern Washington state. Washington State Patrol said that 54-year-old James D. Mosley of Boise, Idaho, fatally shot himself in front of troopers about 2:30 p.m. Sunday. He was driving a silver 2004 Buick Century, going east on Interstate 82 in Yakima County when he was pulled over for a traffic infraction.

      ITALY, Texas - Sheriff's officials say there's been a shooting at a high school in a small town south of Dallas and a suspect is in custody. The Ellis County sheriff's office said on Twitter that the "shooter is in custody" after the shooting early Monday at the school in Italy (IT-lee), some 45 miles (70 kilometers) south of Dallas.    No injuries have been confirmed in the shooting.

Senate Democrats had blocked a stopgap measure passed by the House to keep the federal bureaucracy operating through Feb. 16. But speaking on "Fox and Friends," Ryan says the new date works for the House.
