SLIDESHOW: Pursuit Ends When Car Crashes Into House

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - A pursuit in Spokane Valley ended Saturday night when the driver crashed into a house. 

Deputies say they tried to stop a car Saturday night when the driver took off at a high rate of speed. During the pursuit the suspect caused a crash near Sprague and Freya that ended with a pickup truck on its side in a restaurant parking lot. 

A short time later during the pursuit the suspect lost control of the car and crashed into a house at 3rd and Chronicle. Deputies were able to take an occupant of the car into custody. He was injured during the crash and is being treated at a medical facility. He has not been identified.

We are still awaiting more details on this pursuit and will update this story as soon as they become available.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Every child deserves an education, but for many of the children fighting for their lives inside Sacred Heart Children's Hospital, the classroom isn't an option. That's why a group of volunteers work to bring the classroom to them. "Each day, they have to go through unbelievable amounts of suffering and loneliness," said volunteer Joe Staebell.
