UPDATE: Attempted Robbery At Little Caesars In Hillyard


PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE POLICE DEPT: On 5-28-13 at around 9:00 pm officers responded to a robbery at 4015 N Market. Police quickly set up a perimeter and tracked the suspect with a K-9. The K-9 located pieces of clothing the suspect had discarded after leaving the business.

Police interviewed the witnesses who stated no weapon was seen or indicated.

The suspect description in this robbery is different from the previous robberies. The suspect was described as a white male in his 40s, approximately 6' tall with a medium build and short blond-grey hair. He was wearing a greenish beanie hat, khaki pants and grey sweatshirt. 

The suspect left without any money. Police are asking anyone with information about this incident or previous robberies to call Crime Check at 456-2233.


SPOKANE, Wash. - Officers are searching for a suspect in an attempted robbery of a pizza shop in the Hillyard area. Right now, they do not know if its connected to any of the other business robberies that have happened in the past few weeks. 

Tuesday night around 9:00pm officers got a call of an attempted robbery at the Little Caesars Pizza store in the 4000 block of north Market. 

Employees say a suspect walked in the store and demanded cash. 

No weapon was displayed and the suspect took off. 

A vehicle was not seen. 

Officers immediately set up a perimeter and brought in a K-9 Unit but they were unable to locate the suspect. 

He is described as a tall white male wearing a ski mask and gloves. 

The Spokane County Sheriff's Department and the Spokane Police Department are both investigating the crime as the two agencies are pooling their resources to catch whomever is responsible for the recent string of robberies in the Spokane area. 

Detectives are currently looking at surveillance video from inside the pizza shop. 

Anyone with Information about the suspect or robbery is asked to call Crime Check at 456 2233
