High School Memorial Garden Remembers Late Student

Posted: Updated:

KALISPELL - Columbia Falls High School students and staff recently planted a memorial garden for the late Taylor Peterson.

Taylor Peterson was a Senior at Columbia Falls High School.

Her life ended in December, after being diagnosed with jawbone cancer. To honor Taylor's life the Columbia Falls student body planted a community garden to remember her.

"Knowing that Taylor is gone but not forgotten because of the garden is really exciting for us and there is a great sense of satisfaction and peace,"  CFHS Teacher Alyson Door said.

The garden includes five trees and more than 30 plants that sit on the south side of the school's building.
