Mackenzie River Donates To Non-Profits For 20th Anniversary

Posted: Updated:

Mackenzie River Pizza Co. is celebrating two decades in Montana by giving $20,000 dollars to seven non-profits around the state.

20% of applicable proceeds made at the two Missoula locations go the Jadyn Fred Foundation.

The foundation honors Jadyn Fred, who died of cancer at age six.

The group provides financial support to children battling diseases and their families.

"It's very emotional for me, because of the association with my granddaughter, but I know it's a satisfaction," said Lynn Fred, Jadyn's granddaughter, and the Executive Director of the group.

"We can help them financially, because some people financially can't do a lot of things when they have to go to Seattle, Denver, Minneapolis, anywhere out of Montana, where they don't have children's hospital here."

The $20,000 are being split between each location based on votes. To find out how you can vote click here.
