BUTTE -

A Butte man, accused of causing an automobile accident where one man died, changed his plea in Silver Bow County District Court Tuesday morning.

J.R. Hollingsworth changed his not guilty plea to guilty after being charged with negligent homicide.

Hollingsworth explained to the court he was driving at a high rate of speed on Harrison Avenue when he ran a red light and hit Forest Felton's car last August.

Felton passed away due to injuries suffered in the accident.

Hollingsworth faces up to 20 years in prison.

The judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
