WineGuyMike Offers Wine Overview During UM Culinary Events

MISSOULA - Wine Guy Mike Tornatore will deliver an overview of wine and food pairing basics during two upcoming events, in conjunction with students in the Culinary Arts Program at Missoula College.

The annual Capstone Dinner takes place Thursday, May 16th at 6 p.m. At the at the Missoula Winery and Event Center. Students created this year's dinner, called "America's Bountiful Barbecue," which will explore the evolution of barbecue across America. The event is open to the public and tickets cost $75.

Then, the Missoula College helps people get ready for summer parties with an easy, elegant hors d'oeuvres class. The non-credit class is taught by Chef Suzanne Phillips, a certified culinarian and Missoula College catering instructor, and will run 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 3 - 7. The class costs $250.
