KALISPELL - A Hungry hHorse man who sparked a lengthy stand-off with law enforcement back in October, received a three year deferment.
32-year-old Benjamin Davis was sentenced to three years of probation and suspended fines by Judge David Ortley. Judge Ortley made his final judgement based on Davis' testimony and the testaments of others who said Davis was a positive and giving person.
Davis was arrested on October 17th for firing multiple rounds from a gun toward the homes of his neighbors. The incident then lead to a stand-off with the Flathead County swat team.
Davis' initial charges of felony criminal endangerment and assault with a weapon were dropped.
