Early election results show Bozeman and Butte voters were feeling generous.
In Butte we have final results for the mill levy the school district put up... The levy has passed with 3,166 votes. Just over 1,800 votes were cast against the levy.

The building reserve helps with maintenance costs. The technology levy helps update the hardware and software programs throughout the district.
The count will also show Elizabeth R. Williamson, Andrew J. Willett and Susan Macgrath have been elected trustees.
Along with school elections, Tuesday was also election day for Gallatin County fire districts. Bridger Canyon and Central Valley voted on new trustees for a three-year term.
Early results show Dennis C. Guntzel and Colleen Carnine are elected to Bridger Canyon and Ty Elliott and J. Davis are elected trustees to Central Valley.
Officials at the Gallatin County Clerk and Recorders office said so far voters have also approved a tax increase to expand the Big Sky Fire Department crew from ten fire fighters to 15. Big Sky Fire Department needs to raise $485,000 to do so.
Voters also elected Lauren Bough and Laura Michael as Big Sky trustees.
