Butte-Silver Bow County is looking into temporary assistance in the human resources department, after the director was put on paid administrative leave last week.
On Friday, Lindsey Moe was suspended indefinitely after potentially violating county policies and procedures.
A third party will conduct an investigation starting next week.
In the meantime, county officials say they may begin looking for temporary assistance in the county human resources department while the investigation proceeds.
"In the short term, we're all just doing a little bit more to make sure we have our bases covered with negotiations and new hires," said Chief Executive Matt Vincent. "We're looking at possibly bringing in short-term assistance to get us through this period."
