KALISPELL - Residents driving on Lupfer Avenue in Whitefish will face short delays beginning Wednesday morning.
LHC Construction officials said the brief delays will take place at 4 a.m.
Crew workers will complete drainage work between Lupfer and Karrow avenues on Highway 93 West.
Motorists will experience short delays on the intersection.
"We're hoping to continue with two lanes but that's why we're starting early in the morning when traffics light. There's work that will be done under one lane traffic but hopefully that work will be done by early morning prior to the big morning rush," Project Manager Jay McMillian said.
LHC Officials said work should be completed Wednesday by noon. The first phase of the project is slated to be completed by June of next year.
