Man Who Robbed Gas Station Sent To Prison

BOZEMAN - The man charged with robbing a gas station in Bozeman in October of 2012, will sere seven years in the Montana State Prison.

On Tuesday, Shane Leonard Jaeger appeared in Gallatin County District on a charge of robbery for attempting to rob the Loaf N' Jug on Main Street.   

Court documents state Jaeger pointed a gun at the cashier, demanding money and sped off. He was later spotted in a red SUV.

When police tried to catch him, he got out of the car and began running. He was later caught in a trailer park on West College.

Judge Holly Brown sentenced Jaeger to 15 years in prison with eight of those years suspended. The Judge also recommended he be place placed in treatment and boot camp programs.
